Charitable Giving
Faith At Law, LLC is a small business, but we still think big when it comes to supporting our local community and non-profit organizations. Here are a few organizations that we proudly support:
- The William C. and Gregory O. Faith Scholarship Endowment Fund at UMBC (part of the University of Maryland System), which was started in memory of my two uncles following their untimely passing in the late 1980′s
- FINCA, a micro-loan non-profit extending loans to entrepreneurs in the world’s lowest income areas to help create jobs and get people out of poverty (learn more on charitynavigator.org)
- Heifer International, a non-profit that helps provide livestock to low-income communities (learn more on charitynavigator.org)
- Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake, the local chapter of the non-profit of the same name that helps to rehabilitate and resell housing to those that otherwise might be unable to own their own home (learn more on charitynavigator.org)
- V-Linc, Inc., a non-profit that creates software and hardware to help the disabled
- The Franciscan Center, Inc., a non-profit that provides help to those that need it in Baltimore, including providing more than 114,000 last year, clothing, outreach and emergency services
- Maryland Lawyers for the Arts, a non-profit that helps artists to obtain low-cost legal services
- The Baltimore County Bar Association, a non-profit association of attorneys in Baltimore County. I also serve on the Lawyer Information and Referral Service for the Bar Association, and am presently the chair of the Technology Committee.
