One Small Step For A Man: Law Office Grand Opening Gentle Reader: I've taken the leap into private practice with both feet this month as a Maryland attorney. My hope is that my experience in the last ten years with technology in combination with my law degree will be of value to the marketplace, especially as new businesses begin to enter and change the information superhighway. You can keep up to date on news of the law practice by becoming a fan of Timothy Faith Law Offices on Facebook. You can also keep up with my take on technology law news by following my blog, to which you can subscribe by RSS if you are so inclined. If you use igoogle.com, you can also add my blog to your home page. Information overload? I understand that diagnosis will be added to the ICD-10 diagnostic code book for physicians and mental health providers quite soon. Prior to becoming an attorney, I have worked as the head of an IT department, as an analyst, and as a consultant. I have, in collaboration with a number of IT professionals and experts, implemented an electronic health record system, practice management system, disaster recovery system, virtualized a production Windows server environment, written endless lines of code (including the code that operates this very web site), developed numerous analytical reports, implemented local and wide area networks and phone systems, provided end user support, and developed a number of web applications. And, because that wasn't enough to do, I went to law school at night for four years to learn about copyright, contracting, due process, civil procedure, estates in land, and law and economics (among other topics common to law students). If I can be of service to you either as an attorney or technology consultant, please do not hesitate to email or call me at your convenience. Regards, Tim Faith |
